Genius Group revenue rockets from £4m to £210m over four years

The Genius Group (TGG) has grown annual revenue from £4.2 million to more than £210 million in just four years, securing a place among the United Kingdom’s fastest-growing private companies.
According to the company’s financial results, sales revenue climbed from £4.16 million in 2022 to £7.14 million in 2023, before accelerating dramatically to £106.7 million in 2024 and reaching £210.5 million in the latest figures. Over the same period, the headcount at the Altrincham-based creative and digital marketing specialist has swelled from 10 employees in 2022 to 63 in 2026.
The explosive trajectory has earned TGG the third spot in The Sunday Times 100, the authoritative ranking of the UK’s fastest-growing private companies, which is based on compound annual sales growth over three years. The company registered a 269% increase in that timeframe and is also recognised as the fastest-growing business in the North West region — a region that placed 14 firms in the top 100 in the latest list. (The Sunday Times 100 excludes companies selling their own technology, which appear in a separate “Tech” ranking.)
How technology fuelled the rise
TGG’s rapid expansion has been driven by a deliberate and sustained investment in proprietary technology, data infrastructure and automation. The company has systematically built out its internal technology and artificial intelligence capabilities, enabling it to scale while maintaining compliance and service delivery for a string of regulated partners.
The firm specialises in lead generation and marketing solutions, running creative campaigns across platforms such as TikTok, Meta and Google. A significant growth area has been lead generation for motor finance PCP claims, where TGG provides high volumes of validated consumer claims to law firms regulated by both the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In total, the company has generated millions of validated consumer claims for its partners across the UK.
This technology-led approach has also delivered measurable results for clients: TGG says it has helped its clients drive more than £2.3 billion in sales over the last three years and generated millions of leads and cases for law firms. The company’s expertise was recognised when it was named “Best Website Traffic Generating Company” at a prestigious industry awards ceremony.
Founder’s vision and company culture
Chris Niebel, who founded TGG in 2017 alongside Mark Shephard, comes from a working-class background and said he always believed the business could build something significant. “What I couldn’t have predicted was the incredible team, partners and technology that would help us achieve that vision,” he said.
Headquartered in Altrincham, the company recently moved to a new, larger office space at Foundation in the town centre to accommodate its growing team and enhance its focus on employee wellbeing. Niebel emphasised that success should be shared: “We work hard to create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work and feel part of something bigger. Whether that’s through employee experiences, team events, access to our Co-op Live suite, Old Trafford hospitality, personal development opportunities or other staff benefits, we want our people to feel valued for the contribution they make.”
Giving back forms a core part of the firm’s identity. Niebel’s wife, Roxsan, leads many of the charitable initiatives the company supports, and together they have helped raise and donate hundreds of thousands of pounds to causes close to their hearts — including work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the provision of access to VIP boxes at the Co-Op Live Arena and Old Trafford.
“Being recognised by The Sunday Times as one of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies is a huge honour, not just for what we’ve achieved as a company, but for what we’ve achieved as a team,” Niebel said. “Our focus has never been on volume alone; it’s been on delivering measurable outcomes and building long-term trust.”
