World Cup 2026: All squads confirmed so far and their scheduled announcement dates

Bosnia and Herzegovina became the first nation to officially name their World Cup 2026 squad, with veteran striker Edin Džeko included at the age of 40, as the 48-team tournament draws closer. The side, drawn in Group B alongside Canada, Qatar and Switzerland, will rely on the former Manchester City and Roma forward’s experience in what is likely to be his final international campaign.

Sweden soon followed under head coach Graham Potter, unveiling a squad packed with Premier League talent including Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres, who together form one of the most potent strike partnerships at the tournament. The Swedes are in Group F with the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia.

Several other nations have already published their 26-player selections. South Korea, Bosnia, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Japan, Sweden, Tunisia, Belgium, New Zealand, France and the Netherlands are among those with confirmed rosters. Below is a full breakdown by group, along with the expected announcement dates for the remaining sides.
