Venus Legal moves into military claims with new support as partner joins APIL committee

Venus Legal, a specialist litigation firm based in the Northwest, has deployed an artificial intelligence-driven online platform to handle military claims, marking its expansion into this area, as stated by UK Tech News.
The boutique firm will represent current and former Armed Forces members in cases including military noise-induced hearing loss, non-freezing cold injuries, and sexual abuse or assault suffered during service. It says it will operate with a survivor-focused and discreet approach, recognising the highly sensitive nature of such claims.
CEO and Founder Lorna McGlone stated that the firm provides clear, expert advice while protecting clients’ wellbeing, supporting those who show courage in coming forward. She explained that the dedicated platform, developed through investment in technology and AI, provides accessible information, real-time case updates and a streamlined process to reduce paperwork and delay. This allows claims to be handled more efficiently, with clients able to focus on wellbeing while staying informed.
McGlone added that the firm has retained a mindset specialist and performance coach to support its team, ensuring staff have a safe space to offload, which she said allows them to support clients with the required care and strength.
The announcement coincides with the appointment of the firm’s partner, Stacy Pimlott, as Joint Coordinator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers’ Military Special Interest Group, alongside Marie-Joelle Théanne of Bolt Burdon Kemp. This marks the first all-female leadership panel in the group’s history.
APIL is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to securing justice for injured people and improving safety and accountability in the legal sector. Pimlott brings extensive experience in complex litigation, including work on the Pan NOx Emissions Litigation, the largest class action ever brought in the UK, where Venus Legal is involved in multiple group actions representing tens of thousands of claimants.
Pimlott commented that military claims demand specialist knowledge and a deep understanding of personal impact, and she is committed to working within APIL to strengthen expertise. She emphasised that people deserve access to justice that recognises the lasting effect of injuries and experiences.
The firm, which is in its fifth year of business, says this expansion strengthens its position as a specialist litigation firm focused on turning lives around, with a reputation for expertise, compassion and impact.
