Murder inquiry after 22-year-old man stabbed to death in Hounslow, West London

A 22-year-old man has died after a stabbing in Hounslow, with detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Homicide Command now leading a murder investigation into the early-morning attack.
Emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road at around 1.47am on Tuesday. Officers from the Met attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found the victim with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Police response and scene
A large crime scene remains in place, with surrounding roads closed to allow forensic examination. The road closures have caused traffic disruption, and several bus routes have been diverted to avoid the area.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our officers responded quickly with London Ambulance Service and did everything possible to help the victim. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends.”
He described the investigation as “fast-paced” and said inquiries were ongoing. Patrols from the local neighbourhood policing team have been increased in the area, and Waller urged anyone with concerns to speak to officers.
Appeals for information and evidence
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the stabbing to come forward, stressing that even details that appear minor could prove crucial. Investigators are particularly keen to obtain CCTV, doorbell, or mobile phone footage that may have captured events leading up to or following the attack.

“Any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could prove crucial. CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage may provide vital evidence,” Waller said.
Members of the public with information or footage are asked to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 0540/30JUN26. Anonymous reports can also be made to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
