In Louis Theroux interview, Boris Becker reveals infidelity at wife’s delivery, Diddy’s days-long festivities, and harsh prison experience

In a candid interview on The Louis Theroux Podcast released on March 3, 2026, tennis legend Boris Becker has laid bare the complexities of his personal life, from the infidelity that shattered his first marriage to the prison sentence that reshaped it, all while building a new home in Milan with his wife and newborn daughter.
Becker directly addressed the persistent rumour that he cheated on his first wife, German-American model Barbara Feltus, while she was giving birth to their son Elias. “There were no contractions,” he stated. “She was in hospital, but there was no contractions. No.” He did, however, unequivocally admit to the infidelity which involved Russian model Angela Ermakova and led to the birth of a daughter, Anna. That affair precipitated the end of his marriage to Feltus, whom he had married in 1993 and divorced in 2001.
“I cheated on her, no doubt about that,” Becker said. The divorce settlement, he acknowledged, provided Feltus with “a nice cheque” – reported to be $14.4 million – and ongoing monthly support. Despite this, Becker insisted they have forged a respectful co-parenting relationship for their two sons, Noah and Elias. “She’s a wonderful mother to my two oldest boys,” he said, noting that Feltus has also moved to Milan, where Becker now lives.
From ‘Living Hell’ to a Milanese Chapter
Becker’s life took another dramatic turn with his 2017 bankruptcy and subsequent conviction for hiding assets and loans to avoid paying debts. He served eight months of a two-and-a-half-year sentence before being released and deported to Germany in December 2022, receiving a 10-year ban from re-entering the UK.
He described the prison experience as “living hell” but conceded it forced a reset. “It just stopped the old life and I got a chance for a new life,” he reflected. The ordeal, he said, ultimately strengthened his bond with his daughter Anna. Becker is now “working with the authorities” in hopes of returning to Britain soon, but for the past three years has focused on his life in Italy.
There, he has remarried, wedding Brazilian-born model Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro in Portofino in September 2024. The couple welcomed a daughter, Zoe Vittoria, in November 2025. Zoe is Becker’s fifth child, who also includes sons Noah and Elias with Feltus, daughter Anna with Ermakova, and son Amadeus from his second marriage to Sharlely ‘Lilly’ Kerssenberg.
On Diddy’s Notorious Gatherings: ‘Parties That Lasted Days’
The podcast also touched on Becker’s time in Miami and his attendance at gatherings hosted by music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is now serving a four-year sentence for transportation for prostitution related to drug-fueled sex parties.
Becker said he was not surprised by the allegations against Combs, having seen the scale of the events. He referenced the producer’s famed ‘White Parties’, which ran from 1998 to 2009, and the more recent serious allegations concerning coerced sex performances known as ‘freak offs’. “The parties were parties. But even the parties, they took sometimes a day or two,” Becker observed. “I’ve never been a guy of going to a long party because, you know, what’s the point?”
Now embracing his role as a father and husband in Milan, Becker presents himself as a man changed by consequence. “I like to call myself a good father,” he said, asserting that despite past failings, he considers his extended family a “close knit” unit.
